Stand Again: Your Faith Is Not Being Wasted

 

Beloved family of IFP Remission Ministry,

There are moments in life when you pray, but the answer seems delayed. You believe, but the situation seems to become harder. You hold on to God, yet everything around you appears to be falling apart.

There are seasons when you may ask, “Lord, why am I going through this?”
You may wonder why the door closed, why the relationship ended, why the opportunity disappeared, why the people you trusted walked away, or why the promise seems to be taking so long. But today, I want to remind you of something important: Your season of difficulty is not proof that God has abandoned you.

Sometimes God is doing His deepest work in us when we cannot see what He is doing.

The Bible says:

“The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.”
Psalm 118:22

The stone was rejected, but rejection did not determine its destiny. God did. And that is a word for somebody in IFP Remission Ministry today. You may have been rejected, but you are not forgotten. You may have been overlooked, but you are not useless. You may have been wounded, but you are not finished.
You may have fallen, but you can rise again. Stand again. Do not allow one painful chapter to convince you that your entire story is finished. Joseph had a pit, but the pit was not his destination. David had a wilderness, but the wilderness was not his throne. Moses had a desert, but the desert was not the end of his calling. Jesus went through the cross, but the grave could not hold Him. What looked like an ending became the beginning of something greater. Beloved, your present situation may not look like what God promised, but never measure God's faithfulness by the appearance of your circumstances.

There are things God is building in you that comfort could never produce. There is faith that can only be developed in the storm. There is strength that can only be discovered when your natural strength is exhausted. There is a deeper knowledge of God that can only come when you have nothing else to hold on to but Him. So if you are walking through a difficult season, do not despise the process. Your faith is being tested, but your faith is not being wasted. Every prayer you prayed in tears matters. Every time you chose to forgive matters. Every time you kept believing when you had reasons to give up matters. Every time you got up after falling matters. Every time you said, “Lord, I still trust You,” even when you did not understand, mattered.

God sees it all. You may feel like nothing is happening, but heaven is not silent because you cannot see the movement. God is still working. The storm may be loud, but Christ is still in the boat. The valley may be dark, but the Shepherd is still with you. The wilderness may be lonely, but God has not left you. The fire may be intense, but you will not walk through it alone. Psalm 23 reminds us: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.” Notice David said, “Though I walk through.” He did not say, “Though I live in the valley.” The valley is a place you walk through. The wilderness is a place you walk through. The storm is a place you walk through. The season of tears is a place you walk through. You are coming through. So I speak to every discouraged heart in IFP Remission Ministry:

Stand again. If you stopped praying, pray again. If you stopped believing, believe again. If disappointment made you withdraw, come back to God again. If failure made you afraid to try, rise again. If rejection made you question your worth, remember who created you. If the waiting has made you tired, wait on the Lord again.

Do not let what happened to you become greater than what Christ has said about you. Your pain is real, but it is not your identity. Your delay is real, but it is not your destiny. Your rejection is real, but it is not your final chapter. Your struggle is real, but God's grace is greater. There is still something alive in you. There is still a purpose inside you. There is still a testimony being formed. There is still a reason to get up in the morning. There is still a reason to worship. There is still a reason to hope. There is still Christ in you. And as long as Christ is at the center, your story is not over. The enemy may look at your broken pieces and say, “It is finished.” But God looks at those same pieces and says, “I can build again.” What was broken, He can restore. What was lost, He can redeem. What was buried, He can resurrect. What was rejected, He can elevate. What brought you tears can become a testimony of His faithfulness. so, beloved, do not give up in the middle of the process. You may not understand everything God is doing right now. You do not have to. You only need to keep trusting the One who sees the beginning, the middle, and the end.

Christ is your foundation. And when everything around you is shaking, hold on to Him. When your strength is exhausted, His strength remains. When your wisdom is insufficient, His wisdom remains. When your plans fail, His purpose remains. When people walk away, His presence remains. When doors close, His purpose remains. When you cannot see the way forward, He remains the Way.

IFP Remission Ministry, this is not the season to surrender. This is the season to stand. Stand in faith. Stand in prayer. Stand in the Word. Stand in righteousness. Stand in hope. Stand in Christ. You may bend, but do not break. You may cry, but do not quit. You may become tired, but do not surrender your faith. Take a breath. Gather yourself. Wipe your tears. Lift your eyes. And stand again. Your story will not end in the pit.

Your faith will not die in the wilderness. Your light will not be extinguished by darkness. Your rejection will not define you. Your failure will not have the final word. Your trial will not determine your destiny. Christ has the final word. And because He lives, there is still hope. Because He lives, you can rise. Because He lives, you can believe again. Because He lives, you can stand again.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray for every member and follower of IFP Remission Ministry.

Strengthen every weary heart. Encourage those who feel forgotten. Restore those who have been broken. Give hope to those who are discouraged. Give strength to those who are tired. Give wisdom to those who are confused. Heal the wounds caused by rejection, disappointment, betrayal, and loss. Let every person who has fallen receive grace to rise again. Where there has been darkness, let Your light shine. Where there has been fear, release faith. Where there has been confusion, release clarity. Where there has been sorrow, release joy.

Where there has been weakness, release strength. Let every storm working against Your people come to an end according to Your will. And let every member of IFP Remission Ministry experience the reality of Your presence, Your power, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness. Lord, remind us that we are not alone. Remind us that our present pain cannot cancel Your purpose. Remind us that our story is still in Your hands. We declare that we will stand again. We will pray again. We will believe again. We will trust Christ again. And we will continue walking with You until we see the manifestation of Your purpose. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
